Norwegian cats stem from a natural breed of Northern European cats. Due to perfect undercoat and water-repellent fur they can resist cold temperatures. Almost died out in the 20th century, this breed has been recovered in Norway. They are good climbers and have between the large paws some fur tufting (fotos to follow soon).
